Description
The Essential jig shoe is our new jig shoe for beginners and intermediate dancers.
It has a supportive black suede sole and Shaped Leinster heels for easier heel clicks.
The Essential sole is more flexible than our leather sole Superflexi, but thanks to a slightly thicker suede sole than our Ultraflexi range, it offers good support to newer dancers.
They come fitted with Leinster tips and Shaped Leinster heels.
The Shaped Leinster heels are a new innovation and offer newer dancers the opportunity to dance with a heel which has a curved inner side to make heel clicks much easier to perform!
They are the same shape as our more expensive Concorde heel and will make the transition to more advanced jig shoes easier when the time comes for the dancer to advance to Open and Championship level jig shoes.
Leather upper, suede sole. Comfortable, durable, popular and unique. Ideal for Irish Step dancing. Made in England. Original Antonio Pacelli dance shoe. Each shoe comes with a cloth bag. See FITTING GUIDE below:
How to Measure your foot from Antonio Pacelli:
Copy this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=my1PdxtU78s to watch a video on how to measure your feet.
1. Place a clear piece of A4 paper up against a wall so that the edge of the paper touches the wall.
2. Put on the socks you normally wear when dancing and place your foot on the paper and put your heel up against the wall. (Double check that the paper is still touching the wall once you have put your foot on it just incase it has moved).

3. Once you are happy that both the paper and your heel are against the wall, relax your foot and toes and draw a line at the longest point of the foot (or ask a friend or family member to do this for you.)
4. Now take the paper and draw a straight line to the longest point and measure with a ruler.

5. This is the measurement you will need to work out what size to order.
Make sure to measure both your feet as they often have slightly different measurements - use the largest measurement when choosing your size!
6. Now you have your measurement please visit the pump or jig shoe page you are interested in purchasing and click on the size guide link to see what size would be best for you.
Please note that while this method is a good way of assessing the correct size, we cannot guarantee that this method will deliver the correct size in 100% of cases.

Essential Jig Sizing Guide
The measurements given are for the foot length we recommend for each size and DOES NOT indicate the length of the jig shoe.
Please note that this is a guide and does not guarantee the correct fit.
To use: Measure your foot and choose the closest size to that measurement. If your foot measurement is between lengths then adjust for your type of foot or preferred fit.
If your foot is extra wide or you prefer a comfort fit then go up half a size. You can find some examples here.
